Responsibilities
Position Title: Data Analytics Manager
Location: 2711 N. Haskell Avenue Suite 1500, Dallas, TX 75204
Review data received from the operations and maintenance and make recommendations to the VP//GM; Compile data in reporting systems to make recommendations regarding staffing needs, changes to non-dedicated assignments, and adjustments to parameters with the overall goal of service efficiency and performance; Monitor and evaluate data collection activities, processes, and procedures; Make recommendations, develop, and implement standard operating procedures to standardized and improve data collection efforts; Develop, implement, and maintain data collection, warehousing, and analytic tolls; Provide analytical and database support to the Operations Department and other departments as requested; Develop key performance indicators and business metrics and make recommendations based on collected data; Assist with evaluating operational and financial data to assess route performance and make recommendations to improve service efficiency and effectiveness; Prepare data presentations and provide information to decision makers; Respond to internal and external requests for operational data reporting and analysis, including service levels and performance, routing, and schedules. 100% telecommuting is permitted. Employee may reside anywhere within the continental U.S.
Qualifications
Education Requirement: Masters degree in Information Systems or Data Analytics related or its foreign equivalent
Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience as Data Analyst, IT Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related positions in transit industry. Experience must include two years with each of the following:
  • QL Query Language, MS Forms
  • Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Data Warehouse
  • Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Goto Connect, Five9
  • Trapeze, Syncromatics, Spare, Rideco, Ecolane
  • Lawson, Workday
