Job Summary:
Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Head of Private Data Products to lead the development and go-to-market strategy for a new Private Markets Data & Analytics platform. The role focuses on shaping how investors measure and compare private market performance, while overseeing the development of benchmarks and analytics to support institutional investors.
Responsibilities:
• Define, build, and commercialize a comprehensive suite of benchmarks, analytics, and datasets that support institutional investors and asset managers in making informed asset allocation and portfolio construction decisions across various private market sectors, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Credit/Direct Lending, Private Real Estate, and Venture Capital.
• Develop a strategic go-to-market plan that positions our platform as the leading choice for private markets data and analytics. This includes identifying target customer segments, crafting value propositions, and building a robust brand presence in the marketplace.
• Partner closely with product management, data science, engineering, and sales teams to ensure the platform meets market needs. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, driving the successful execution of product development and launch initiatives.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, translating these insights into product features and enhancements. Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and client meetings to showcase thought leadership in private markets data analytics.
• Establish methodologies for benchmarking and performance measurement that are rigorous, transparent, and trusted by the investment community. Ensure that analytics reflect current market conditions and best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform product direction and market opportunities. Contribute to white papers, reports, and other thought leadership materials that position our firm as a key player in the private markets space.
