Materials Management Administrative Intern

Assist with inventory tracking and supply management. Enter purchase orders, vendor information, and inventory data into department systems. Maintain accurate records and filing systems. Support receiving and reconciliation of supplies and invoices. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and departmental metrics. Assist with supply audits and inventory counts. Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding supply needs. Help identify process improvements and efficiencies within the materials management function. Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.

Coursework in supply chain, logistics, business analytics, or healthcare administration preferred. Strong Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and basic reporting. Interest in healthcare operations or supply chain management. Experience working with databases or inventory management systems.

Preference for 9-11am M-F. Flexible schedule arranged with the supervisor around the student's class schedule; hours may vary based on department needs and approved events.
