Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis intern to join our Finance team. In this full-time role, you will support financial planning, reporting, business performance analysis, sales and project controlling, and management reporting.ย 
This opportunity is ideal for a student who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis while working with financial and operational data to support business decision-making. You will collaborate with members of the Finance team and other business stakeholders while developing your analytical, reporting, and communication skills.ย 
A successful candidate will be highly motivated, well organized, able to multi-task, proactively prioritize work activities, and meet tight deadlines. The FP&A intern will be a key member of the North American Finance team.ย

How you will create an impact:ย 
  • Business Performance & Analytics
    • Support the preparation of recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards.ย 
    • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers.ย 
    • Assist in creating presentations for management reporting.ย 
    • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.ย 
  • Sales & Project Controlling
    • Assist with sales pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting.ย 
    • Support project profitability analysis and resource utilization reporting.ย 
    • Assist in monitoring project financial performance and identifying variances.ย 
    • Help prepare financial analyses for project reviews.ย 
  • General FP&A Support
    • Prepare data for management meetings and leadership presentations.ย 
    • Maintain financial databases and reporting files.ย 
    • Collaborate with finance team members on cross-functional projects.ย 
    • Support ad hoc requests from finance and business leadership.ย 
Your profile:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.ย 
  • Ability to intern full-time for 3-6 months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.ย 
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to go into the office 1-2x/week.ย

The pay for this position is 28/hr. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
