Job Description

Tensley Consulting is seeking a System Engineer to support analytical engineering, data analysis, and system modeling activities across mission-critical systems and enterprise environments. The System Engineer provides technical expertise supporting data-driven system analysis, requirements development, system architecture modeling, and analytical evaluation of complex systems. This role works closely with government stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to translate mission requirements into technical solutions using analytical methods, modeling techniques, and system performance analysis. The System Engineer supports the full system lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture modeling, integration planning, testing, and performance evaluation. Responsibilities include conducting technical and quantitative analysis, developing system models, supporting architecture frameworks, and providing insights that inform engineering decisions and improve mission system performance.


Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a System Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional system engineering experience may be substituted in place of the degree.


Salary: $190,000-$220,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
