Job Description

This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect the selected candidate to work 3 days a week at one of our corporate offices in Saint Pete, FL, Memphis, TN or Southfield, MI.

The Advisor, Associate Experience Analytics is an entry-level analytics professional responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across Human Resources. The Advisor partners with stakeholders to analyze workforce and business data, identify trends, improve data quality, and deliver meaningful reporting solutions that align with enterprise data strategy objectives. This role serves as a key resource for data analysis, governance, and reporting, leveraging statistical techniques and data discovery tools to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and value of HR data. The Advisor supports the full data lifecycle, from data acquisition and validation through analysis and visualization, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Through strong analytical skills and effective communication, the Advisor helps turn complex data into clear insights that drive informed business decisions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with internal advisors to address questions regarding data discrepancies

  • Interprets data and analyzes results using statistical techniques.

  • Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases and data systems.

  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Filters and "cleans" data, reviews computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators

  • Profiles data sources using SQL and other data discovery tools in support of data quality analysis

  • Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.

  • Partners with team members to develop project schedules, reports and documentation.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge of

  • Intermediate knowledge of the following:

  • Effective communication with business users of data

  • Data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.

  • Familiar with PL SQL and MS SQL databases, able to run SQL queries

  • Experience using software packages (MS Access, Pivot Tables) for analyzing large datasets.

  • Running queries, report writing and presenting findings.

  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred but not required

Education/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business, or a related field.

  • Typically requires 0-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, data management, or business intelligence.

  • Exposure to SQL, data visualization, reporting tools, and data quality processes preferred.

  • Financial services industry experience is beneficial but not required.

  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as approved by Human Resources may be considered.
