Job description

Job Summary:

  • Supports human resources activities within a site, organizational unit, or department. Assists in the deployment of a broad range of defined Human Resources processes within the business or functional organization. Works within defined processes and procedures to provide Human Resources support to employees and may help determine the appropriate resolution to common Human Resources inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works within defined human resource processes to (e.g. compensation, benefits, performance management, exit interviews, relocation, and immigration support) to take appropriate action. 
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of workforce information in Human Resources Information Systems, including employee files; conducts regular data-entry audits to ensure completeness and accuracy Coordinates and assists with internal audit requests. 
  • May assist in documenting investigations. Coordinates Human Resources business process activities to support the achievement of timelines and quality objectives. Provides staffing and recruiting support; coordinates recruiting activities; conducts reference checks for new hires; coordinates new hire orientation assignments and activities. 
  • Coordinates standard compensation processes and benefits administration by partnering with shared services and corporate human resources. Assists in administration of human resources policies and procedures; may audit compliance with key legislative requirements. 
  • Creates employment contracts as required by local law or practice.
