Primary Purpose

The Data Analyst Independently performs data analysis; document, recommend, and make process and 

configuration changes to data functions and/or systems; and perform strategic data analysis to support 

management. Requires in-depth and broad understanding of the company's data configuration and 

needs to analyze and resolve problems. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Create, run, and disseminate weekly and monthly reports as directed by stakeholders and team.
  •  ERP support, testing and implementation including CPP
  •  Warehouse Management System support & testing for warehouse
  •  Excel support for store, management for stores and Home Office.
  •  Corporate EDI support.
  •  SharePoint support, update, & changes for Merchandising.
  •  D-Com testing and support for data exchange between Compass and Ecommerce platforms.
  •  Data integrity, hierarchy, maintenance.
  •  At the direction of the department lead to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and system requirements.
  •  Tracks and fully documents change for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training. 
  •  In collaboration and leadership of the department lead, plans, organizes, and conducts business process improvement.
  •  Applies creative thinking in the development of business processes.
  •  Participates in user testing of new system functionality.
  •  Acquire subject matter expertise in the functions and activities of the various departments, including applicable laws, rules, regulations, procedures, and technical operations.
  •  Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
  •  Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  •  Acts as a team lead on designated projects or assignments and may provide work direction to technical or clerical staff.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Comprehensive knowledge of the products Country Supplier sells.
  •  Perform daily cleaning - such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping.
  •  Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's degree in data analytics or similar field is preferred.
  •  Two (2) years of experience in business process analysis, data base management, change management, and/or analytical or research projects preferred.
  •  Experience with ERP systems and/or Epicor Software
  •  Experience with presentation, spreadsheet, flow charting and work processing.
  •  Understanding of methods of developing business and data process specification; procedures and testing of business functions within computer systems.
  •  Effective project documentation skills including business functions, desk manuals, and configuration documentation.
  •  Handle multiple and parallel projects concurrently.
  •  Basis project management techniques, techniques for managing change.
  •  Advanced Excel, MS Access, and application software knowledge
  •  Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  •  Ability to write logical, comprehensive, concise reports and correspondence.
  •  Exceptional interpersonal skills
  •  Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
