Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review data, create charts, dashboards, and reports as assigned.

2. Develop ways to avoid and deter data inconsistencies at the source in addition to review, validate, research, clean and transform those inconsistencies.

3. Support analysts to improve current reports and data sources.

4. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

5. Understand. Create. Simplify.

6. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Current student pursuing a degree in Analytics, Math, Statistics, or Social Sciences

Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access

Strong analytical, judgment, organizational, and project management skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information

Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Python, R, SQL or other analytic languages

Experience with reporting software, such as Web Intelligence or Power BI
