What is the opportunity?
The Wealth Strategies and Solutions Data Analyst assists in the development, support, and growth of RBC Wealth Management's wealth strategies and product platforms. This person will assist in the execution of key business initiatives including project management, data analytics and policy/procedure documentation designed to support and promote the adoption of wealth planning and solutions thru data.
What will you do?
  • Assist in gathering, validating and reporting key department metrics to stakeholders
  • Act as subject matter expert within projects that involve Wealth Strategies and Solutions data
  • Advisor, client and product segmentation analysis
  • Support the adoption of RBC-approved AI applications to drive improved business processes
  • Support analysis of opportunities across various client segments, with a particular focus on the UHNW marketplace
  • Creation of solution question sets for Knowledge Pro tool used by the field and home office groups
  • Support enabling data to drive product sales and assets acquisition
  • Creation of Partnership database to capture specified information such as sponsorships, relationship management meeting dates, subscription to Insights Carrier Portal, approved products, etc.
  • Documentation of desk procedures with opportunity to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with routine and ad-hoc administrative activities, including, but not limited to, information collection and business reporting.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Undergraduate degree (BA / BS) preferred with concentration in business, economics, finance, or marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets and investment industry.
  • Ability to work with and analyze large data sets using at least one data manipulation language (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS and ETC)
  • Hands on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Alteryx or similar tools.
  • Exposure wealth management solutions and products including product features, benefits, industry knowledge and regulations.
  • Strong understanding and utilization of AI models
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with management, internal and external partners.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out a variety of instructions, solve problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud reporting
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in use data analytical tools.
  • Experience developing management presentations
  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials Exam) or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • SEI licensed or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn about new products and processes in a short timeframe.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $70,000-$130,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
