Position Summary:

NAR is seeking a Data Analyst to help deliver data-driven insights, analytics solutions, and AI-enabled products that support decision-making across the organization. This role focuses on working directly with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements, transform complex and fragmented data into actionable information, and build scalable solutions that provide measurable business value. 

The Data Analyst will design and implement data preparation processes, perform advanced analysis, and develop applications and visualizations. They will make data and analysis accessible to non-technical audiences. The role works extensively within the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric ecosystems and involves close collaboration with data scientists, and business stakeholders in different parts of the organization. 

The successful candidate will contribute to data quality initiatives, AI-assisted analytics workflows, and the development of new solutions that leverage both traditional analytics and AI technologies. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across analytics, visualization, and application development disciplines, with a practical focus on delivering solutions that are reliable, scalable, and widely adopted by the business. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders and non-technical teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions 

  • Extract, transform, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources to support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making 

  • Develop and maintain Python notebooks using SQL, Spark, and related technologies for data analysis, exploration, and reporting 

  • Create dashboards that effectively communicate insights to business audiences using technologies such as Power BI, Streamlit, Django, and other frameworks 

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists on data quality initiatives, statistical analyses, AI-assisted testing frameworks, and machine learning-related projects 

  • Participate in source control, deployment, and project management processes using tools such as Git and Jira 

  • Other duties, as assigned 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. 

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics or a related technical role. 

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience writing complex queries. 

  • Strong Python development skills, including working with notebooks, expertise with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), and use of visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, Matplotlib). 

  • Experience building dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Streamlit, or Django. 

  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms and services; Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric experience preferred. 

  • Use of Git and use of project management systems such as Jira. 

  • Good grasp of basic statistical concepts. 

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. 

  • Experience with AI, such as the use of AI-code generation, is a positive. 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting are preferred 


Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 depending on office location

NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
NAR is on a hybrid schedule and in the office 3 days a week.
