We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data & Workflow Solutions (Client Activation) to join our Fund Services team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Overview

This role supports the design and delivery of data solutions and workflow automation capabilities that enable efficient client onboarding, data transformation, and operational scalability. The position bridges business requirements and technical configuration, with a focus on executing solutions that improve data flow, quality, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Data Delivery & Solution Execution

  • Execute delivery of data integration, reporting, and workflow solutions across onboarding and servicing processes, owning components end-to-end.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data and workflow configurations. 

  • Contribute to implementation of client-specific onboarding solutions, including transformation and mapping logic. 

Workflow Configuration & Automation

  • Configure and maintain workflow solutions using low-code or configurable platforms, leveraging reusable components, parameterization, and modular design patterns.

  • Translate business processes into structured workflows, including scheduling, data extraction, transformation, and output generation. 

  • Support iterative development and prototyping to refine solutions and improve usability. 

Data Integration & Mapping

  • Perform data mapping across systems and ensure consistency of data flows between platforms. 

  • Assist with integration activities involving APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. 

  • Work with complex, incomplete, or inconsistent datasets to define mapping logic and ensure accurate downstream processing.

Quality, Controls & Governance

  • Apply data quality checks, validation rules, and exception handling within workflows.

  • Support adherence to data governance, lineage, and audit requirements. 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business SMEs to deliver effective solutions. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance scalability. 

  • Contribute feedback to enhance platform capabilities and user experience. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 

  • 6–10 plus years of experience in data delivery, business analysis, workflow automation, or financial services technology. 

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical or configurable workflow solutions. 

  • Strong data mapping and analysis skills with an understanding of data transformation concepts. 

  • Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, or modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) preferred. 

  • Hands-on experience with low-code or workflow configuration platforms strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of fund accounting, onboarding, or billing processes preferred. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
