Job description

The Role:

Principal BI Developer I โ€” Oracle Fusion Reporting & Analytics

Lead the future of enterprise analytics by turning sophisticated Oracle Fusion data into business-defining insights.

This role offers a clear chance to create impact across the enterprise. It is for Oracle Fusion reporting experts who enjoy solving complex data challenges and crafting analytics strategy.   As Principal BI Developer I, you will help build and optimize our Oracle Fusion Reporting and Analytics ecosystem across OTBI, BI Publisher, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Analytics Cloud, and related integration platforms.   You will partner with business and technology leaders to modernize reporting, improve decision-making, and build scalable analytics solutions that move the business forward.

What Youโ€™ll Own

โ€ข Serve as a key technical owner for a high-performing Oracle Fusion Reporting and Analytics Suite.
โ€ข Build scalable data pipelines and integration frameworks using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or comparable ETL tools.
โ€ข Build trusted semantic layers, attributes, metrics, and hierarchies within Oracle Analytics Cloud.
โ€ข Build and optimize OTBI analyses, BI Publisher reports, and FDI dashboards that give business leaders clearer access to performance.
โ€ข Extend FDI capabilities through custom data ingestion, data augmentation, and transformation solutions.
โ€ข Lead critical administration activities including environment setup, upgrades, schema subscriptions, cache management, migrations, and performance support.
โ€ข Partner directly with collaborators to turn complex reporting needs into practical, scalable, and high-value analytics solutions.
โ€ข Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer resources that help teams adopt and sustain modern analytics capabilities.
โ€ข Monitor application health and fix performance issues to keep reporting solutions reliable, efficient, and business-ready.

What Makes You a Good Fit

โ€ข You have deep hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion reporting tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI/FAIDP, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
โ€ข You know how to connect data, systems, and business needs through ODI or similar ETL platforms.
โ€ข You bring advanced SQL skills and strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, and schema architecture.
โ€ข You understand Fusion extensibility, data augmentation, custom data ingestion, security architecture, migrations, administration, and performance tuning.
โ€ข You can influence without overcomplicating, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners, and deliver solutions that are both practical and scalable.

Preferred Certifications or Training

Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Analytics Cloud, OCI, and Oracle Fusion SaaS certifications or formal training are highly preferred.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This is not a maintenance-only reporting role. You will have the opportunity to influence how enterprise analytics is designed, delivered, and adopted across the organization. You will work with modern Oracle cloud technologies, solve meaningful data challenges, and build reporting solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance at scale. For someone who wants ownership, technical depth, and business impact, this is a role where your work will be seen and valued.

Experience Weโ€™re Looking For

โ€ข 7+ years of experience developing solutions within Oracle Fusion Reporting and Analytics Suite.
โ€ข 7+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture, schema design, and reporting data models.
โ€ข 4+ years of experience leading implementations or major analytics/reporting initiatives.
โ€ข 4+ years of experience supporting architecture, administration, performance tuning, and environment management activities.

Education

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Letโ€™s Talk

If you are open to exploring a role where your Oracle Fusion reporting expertise can shape enterprise analytics and create measurable business impact, we would welcome a conversation.
