About the role...

The Pricing Analyst position is responsible for gathering data, preparing analysis and making recommendations to support the generation of net program revenue. Pricing responsibilities include cost analysis, making sell price recommendations, reviewing special offers, monitoring cost changes and working with pricing systems. This position is also responsible for the accuracy of prices in all marketing materials and across all costing, pricing and reservation systems. The Analyst will work closely with members of Tuition Revenue Management (TRM), Air Operations, Marketing, Programs, Program Services, Contracting and Finance providing analysis and insights to support effective decision making to maximize net program revenue.

Road Scholar offers a remote work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $60,000 - $65,000 based on experience.

In this role, you will...

  • Prepare pricing files, analyze YOY cost changes and make sell price recommendations according to margin guidelines.
  • Analyze net program revenue changes after programs have been priced and based on margin guidelines evaluate if sell price changes are needed.
  • Review special offer reporting and recommend extensions.
  • Ensure accurate sell prices in systems and update as needed
  • Review all marketing campaigns for print, web and e-mail. Ensure accuracy of pricing and special offers for featured dates.
  • Leverage system software to develop standard tools to provide reporting, analysis and manage work flow processes.
  • Other duties as needed including Ad-hoc reporting and special projects

We're seeking...

  • Bachelor’s degree required with up to 2 years relevant experience (travel industry experience a plus).
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, to include Power Point, Word and Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Attention to detail; highly accurate with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, problem solve and work independently.
  • Ability to understand foreign currency translation.
  • Strong desire to learn new skills and work as a team player.
  • Experience with gathering, manipulation and analysis of large data sets.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
