Job description

Johns Hopkins Home Care Group is always looking for talented, compassionate, and committed professionals to join our team in a variety of roles. The Finance Analyst II will play a crucial role in supporting financial decision-making at Johns Hopkins Care at Home. As a key member of the Finance team, this position will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis and reporting, strategic financial planning, and budget oversight for specific operating divisions. The Finance Analyst II will independently provide decision support to senior management and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Financial Planning: Develop and manage budgets and financial plans for infusion and outpatient services, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Month-End Accounting and Financial Close: Perform month-end accounting tasks, including inventory valuation, accruals, and detailed analysis of revenue and cost of goods sold.
Annual Budget Processes: Support management in the annual operating and capital budget processes, contributing to the development of comprehensive financial plans.
Reimbursement and Revenue Cycle Management: Provide support for reimbursement and revenue cycle management, ensuring efficient financial processes and compliance.
Data Analysis: Work with large datasets, utilizing tools such as MS Excel, Tableau, and other visualization tools to analyze and present financial information effectively.
Communication: Facilitate timely communication of financial information to all levels of management, conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Required Experience: Two (2) years of experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, analysis, and statistical principles.
• Advanced proficiency in PC-based modeling systems, including Excel and Access.
• Working knowledge of SAP (preferred but not required).
• Working knowledge of EPSi and Tableau.
Salary Range: $24.81 /hour - $45.03 /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
