Responsibilities

Data Analyst Duties

  • Identify relevant data required to effectively analyze and measure company performance.
  • Identify relevant data required to effectively analyze and impact product sell pricing.
  • Aggregate and organize data using Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Create reports in Excel that are easily understandable by the senior management team, and provide relevant information needed for business decision making.
  • Present objective information and data mining to make better decisions concerning the business and how the company will go to market.
  • Serve a vital role in providing information in a way that allows us to make better decisions about the performance of our business.
  • Formulate daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting to enhance the decision making of the average staff member to do his or her job with greater efficiency and productivity.

  • High level of computer literacy, and highly proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with a POS or ERP database, with reporting functionality.
  • Proficiency with pivot tables, charts and graphs in Excel.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
