Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to provide advanced analytics and operational intelligence support to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) Cyber Warfare Department (CWD) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station located in Southern Maryland.  This position is an 100% on-site role.  The selected candidate will serve as a critical member of the Cyber Planning and Response Center (CPRC), delivering data-driven insights that enable informed decision-making across mission planning, readiness assessment, resource allocation, and operational tracking activities.

This position requires a strong analytical background, demonstrated experience working with complex datasets and PowerBI, and the proven ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable intelligence for senior leadership and operational stakeholders. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Execute comprehensive data management and analysis activities to support mission intelligence objectives
  • Extract, query, and analyze data from complex databases and multiple disparate data sources
  • Perform extensive data cleaning, normalization, and validation to ensure data integrity and reliability
  • Conduct statistical analysis to identify operational trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Develop, maintain, and automate intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Build predictive data models to support operational forecasting and strategic planning
  • Translate technical and analytical findings into concise, plain-language summaries focused on financial, readiness, and operational impacts for senior leadership
  • Support data-driven decision-making by transforming raw data into verified quantitative metrics and strategic insights
  • Work collaboratively with data engineers and developers to acquire, process, and format data both at source and post-extraction to create analytical products
  • Partner with data analysts and data scientists to prepare diverse data sources for advanced analytics work
  • Liaise with business and operational stakeholders to understand business needs, metrics, goals, and objectives
  • Translate and map user requirements to underlying data sources and develop extraction plans
  • Develop thorough documentation for data sources and pipelines in collaboration with data scientists, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders (e.g., data dictionaries, flow models, process documentation)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data collection processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, intelligence analytics, or related technical disciplines
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including PowerBI and Power Automate
  • Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, database querying, and statistical analysis methodologies
  • Experience with Qlik/Qlik Sense analytics and dashboard development
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization, predictive analytics, and business intelligence best practices
  • Advanced database querying capabilities
  • Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis tools
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) or Navy acquisition and operational environments
  • Experience supporting cyber operations or intelligence mission sets
  • Knowledge of Navy enterprise systems and data architectures
  • Advanced certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or related disciplines

Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00
