Job description

As a data analyst, you dive in data gathered across digital platforms (websites, mobile apps, marketing automation platforms, advertising channels, social networks, etc.) and translate data points into comprehensible stories about user experience and audiences.

You guide clients through the complex and ever-evolving digital data landscape. Prepare yourself for challenging and complex environments, where you will play a key role in optimising the user experience for millions of visitors.

Analyse all relevant and available data, and come up with concrete action points, while taking into account the needs of the business.

Stitch data sources together

You help to bridge the gap between the on- and offline data sources available in an organisation.

Segment users based on common characteristics and activate those audiences in advertising channels and email marketing tools.

Increase data literacy

Help improve the data literacy of our clients by on-the-job knowledge sharing or organising formal training sessions.

You understand that clear and to-the-point data visualisations facilitate the communication of insights throughout an organisation.

Initiate growth and optimise

Your role does not stop at number crunching. You contribute actively in applying and testing your optimisation recommendations.

Your profile

As a Data Analyst, you help the organisations of our clients make data informed decisions. It is your task to translate complex and often scattered information into clear recommendations.

You are a real problem-solver and will take ownership over your projects. You can work independently but master the right communication skills to work effectively across multiple teams.

You are intrigued by how people behave online and curious for the โ€œwhyโ€ behind your observations. Next to that, you keep up with the latest developments in the digital marketing sphere and love to get your hands dirty and experiment with new technologies or tools.

You have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst with a strong knowledge of SQL and Power BI, as these will be essential tools in your day-to-day work.

We do expect that you have a strong affinity with marketing and digital and that you are familiar with the practice of web analytics.

At Stitchd, you will get the chance to work on complex projects for well-known brands and with a high reach. And at the same time, you will join a small, but highly experienced team of measure professionals.

We find it important to share knowledge with each other. This allows you to develop at lightning speed. But we also expect an active contribution from you!

Every member of the team will contribute in his or her own way to elevate the knowledge level of the entire team: by giving trainings, coaching junior colleagues, creating documentation, developing internal projects, etc.

For this role, we are looking for candidates based in Flanders.

  • Experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowplow, Piwik, โ€ฆ).
  • Experience with tag management solutions (GTM, Launch, Tealium, โ€ฆ).
  • Experience with Python,...
  • Experience with different reporting tools besides Power BI (Tableau, Looker Studio,...).
  • Experience with data platforms (Databricks, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, ....).
  • Experience with customer data platforms (Tealium Audience Stream, Segment, AEP, Hightouch, Census, ...).
  • Experience with email or customer engagement platforms (MailChimp, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Voyado, Bloomreach, ...).
  • Experience in public speaking and/or blogging.
What we offer
  • An attractive salary based on your experience and contributions to the team.
  • Some interesting benefits such as a company car with fuel card, MacBook Pro, hospitalisation insurance, pension plan, etc.
  • Flexible working hours: arrange your day as it suits you best.
  • A personal development trajectory with both in-house training and a budget for conferences and external training or workshops.
  • Opportunities to initiate new and creative initiatives.
  • Challenging projects for interesting Belgian based companies.
  • Contract of indefinite duration.
