Position Summary
The Data Analyst will work closely with the key stakeholders from the various departments and work closely with them to validate data accuracy, as well as using the tools developed to provide insight and recommendations based on the analysis conducted. The Data Analyst plays a lead role in driving the culture of data driven decision making and its adoption across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with employees on the production floor to collect, validate, and interpret operational data, ensuring real-time accuracy and practical usability.

  • Monitor data integrity across systems and facilities, initiating corrective actions and leading initiatives to improve data consistency, accuracy, and harmonization across Oliver's US operations.

  • Facilitate and drive production processes by identifying risks, inefficiencies, and gaps in visibility; develop and implement process improvements to support operational excellence.

  • Support ongoing business data needs by partners with Finance and other operational departments by analyzing material usage, evaluating labor variances, and identifying discrepancies that impact cost, efficiency, or performance.

  • Investigate, document, and model business functions, processes, procedures, systems, information flows, and data structures using appropriate analytical tools and methodologies.

  • Serve as a key liaison between operations, finance, and IT to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and operational realities.

Basic Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred

Experience:
  • 3+ years' experience working with database applications, reporting and analysis OR Equivalent Combination of the Education and Experience.

Interpersonal Skills:
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner, etc.

  • Ability to communicate with business users across the organization.

  • Ability to speak effectively, present information, respond to questions in a clear and concise manner, etc.

  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, be able to work independently or as member of a team.

Technical Skills
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.

  • Experience using Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar business intelligence tool.

  • Strong Mathematical foundation.

  • Expert in Microsoft Office; Excel specifically.

  • Deep experience in enterprise and database applications. Report writing know-how is a plus.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Excellent presentation skills

Working Conditions
