Job description

Power Quality Data Analyst (Remote Position)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Power Quality Data Analyst with emphasis on the power quality field. As a Power Quality Data Analyst, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, detailed technical reports and recommendations on power quality issues such as sags/surges, outages and electrical Grounding and how these impact the operation of electrical medical devices, including but not limited to MRI's, CTs, and Ultrasound machines. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical knowledge and background in power quality, along with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment. A background as a Field Service Engineer within the medical system installation field is highly desirable. In this role, you will work with clients and stakeholders to provide accurate and comprehensive documentation that supports informed decision-making. You will also collaborate with our team remotely to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and write power quality reports on power quality related issues using the data received from our power quality meters.
  • Conduct technical assessments of power quality issues, including voltage sags, over/under voltage, and other power quality - related concerns.
  • Create structured, and clear reports, using our scripts and templates.
  • Work closely with our report writing team to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.
  • Meet project deadlines, while maintaining quality reporting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the Electrical field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation.
  • Must have an electrical engineering or electrician’s background or strong understanding of electrical engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend medical system specifications
  • Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat.

Physical Requirements:

  • The job will require occasional travel to headquarters (New Hampshire)
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring a high level of concentration and attention to detail.
