Overview

Join IGT's Cashless Payments team and help modernize how data is used to power payment operations and business insights. As a Payments Data & Analytics Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working with large data sets, reporting tools, and analytics workflows that support both internal leadership and external partners.

This internship offers exposure to real-world payment operations, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You'll work alongside a team focused on improving reporting accuracy, streamlining workflows, and preparing data for modern analytics tools.

What You'll Do
  • Organize, prepare, and standardize data from multiple systems for analytics and reporting purposes
  • Audit and improve existing data processes, workflows, and reporting structures
  • Support modernization initiatives by preparing data for use in optimization and analytics tools
  • Assist with automating and streamlining manual reporting and auditing processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams across Payments, Finance, and Operations to support business initiatives
  • Help validate data quality and ensure reporting accuracy for internal and customer-facing deliverables
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement efforts across the team
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics and reporting tools
  • Interest in analytical workflows, data organization, and reporting processes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and work with data from multiple systems and sources
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

For this role, the starting compensation range is $19 - $23 per hour, with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications.
