Title: Business Analyst 1 (Data governance analyst)

Onsite on Monday and Tuesday (must be within an hour of Smyrna)

Interviews: In person is required will be a panel interview

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in information science, Computer Science, Database Management, Public Health, or a closely related field required; a master s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Experience communicating complex metrics into clear, non-technical written and verbal narratives.
  • Strong understanding of data dictionaries, data standards, and metadata management frameworks.
  • Experience with data governance or metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview or similar).
  • Strong command of SQL, Python or R is highly valuable
  • Experience working in healthcare, public health, or government data environments.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and their implications for metadata and data standardization.
