Position Summary

We are seeking aData Analystto join our advanced analytics and MLOps organization. This role will partner closely with product owners and technical teams to transform business objectives into actionable data insights. The successful candidate will perform exploratory data analysis, identify meaningful patterns and opportunities within complex datasets, and help drive data-informed decision-making.

This position offers a strong growth path into predictive modeling and data science work while maintaining a core focus on analytics, insight generation, and business problem-solving. The role was discussed as supporting an MLOps team and collaborating with product owners responsible for business use cases and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to evaluate business opportunities and uncover actionable insights.
  • Partner with product owners to understand business objectives, use cases, and data requirements.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assess data quality, availability, and feasibility for business and analytical initiatives.
  • Support the development of predictive models and machine learning solutions through data preparation, analysis, and experimentation.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, MLOps, and analytics teams to support model deployment and operationalization initiatives.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical findings to support ongoing business value creation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience performing exploratory data analysis and deriving actionable business insights.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large datasets and modern analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Databricks experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Spark or PySpark.
  • Exposure to machine learning, predictive modeling, or data science methodologies.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based analytics environments.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and model lifecycle processes.

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$109,000 - $136,250 USD
