Job Summary

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading data analysis and reporting activities within the Program Management department. This position works closely with Program Management and other departments to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret business and program data, identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide meaningful information to support business decisions.

The Senior Data Analyst serves as a key resource for program-related data and reporting and is responsible for ensuring information is accurate, organized, and presented in a clear and useful manner. This position requires an experienced professional who can independently manage analytical assignments, develop reporting, and provide insights that support program performance and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data from multiple business systems and sources to support Program Management and business needs.
  • Analyze program performance and results to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve recurring reports, spreadsheets, performance measures, and other reporting used by Program Management and leadership.
  • Review and validate information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify data discrepancies and work with appropriate departments to resolve issues and improve data accuracy.
  • Translate data and findings into clear, meaningful information to support business decisions.
  • Identify patterns and trends in business and program data and communicate significant findings to management.
  • Work closely with Program Management to understand reporting needs and provide analysis to support programs, projects, and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information, understand business needs, and support company-wide initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, summaries, and analytical materials for management and leadership review, including recommendations based on data findings.
  • Lead data-related assignments, research, special projects, and business improvement initiatives, and provide analytical support to cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data organization, accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, program analysis, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing data analytics and interpreting business requirements and trends.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other business analytics tools.
  • Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting information from multiple business systems and data sources.
  • Demonstrated experience developing reports and presenting findings to management or business leaders.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities while collaborating effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Freshdesk or a comparable ticketing platform.
  • Prior experience with business forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Experience supporting environmental monitoring systems in healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or other regulated environments
