Job description

Job Summary:
HP is seeking a Data Analyst who applies developed subject matter expertise to solve both common and complex business challenges. The role involves recommending data-driven solutions, working across diverse datasets, and contributing to impactful decision-making while guiding team activities and validating insights.
Responsibilities:
• Participates as a member of team of other data science engineers carrying out the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.
• Creates plans, data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations in accordance with overall plan.
• Collaborates with SMEs to develop procedures for collecting, recording, analyzing, and communicating data for review and feedback.
• Prepares literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; creates patent applications and supporting documentation.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, statistical concepts, and data validation techniques.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau to build dashboards and communicate insights effectively.
• Foundational knowledge of AI, including the ability to use AI-enabled tools to enhance data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making at different organizational levels.
• Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 4-6 years’ experience including graduate or postgraduate research.
