Job description

DPP is seeking a Power Platform / Microsoft Fabric Developer for an onsite opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
 
Location: Partially onsite (Tues, Wed, Thurs as needed; 8-5) in Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 months
Term: W2 position
Work Authorization: ; must be able to earn a Public Trust level clearance 
Position summary:
  • The Power Platform / Microsoft Fabric Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise solution Microsoft’s Power Platform and Fabric ecosystem.
  • This role will be partnered with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and IT teams to deliver scalable automation, analytics, data integration, reporting, and AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and business decision-making.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong development experience within Microsoft technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and Copilot technologies.
  • You will work with a team that delivers and supports the enterprise collaboration, communication, and productivity ecosystem.
    • This team manages Microsoft 365, SharePoint, email security services, secure client technologies, and related digital workplace platforms, ensuring employees have secure and reliable access to the tools they need to collaborate, communicate, and innovate.
    • Through governance, automation, security, and continuous improvement, the team drives employee productivity while reducing risk and operational complexity.
Skills required:
  • Experience with Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with AI Builder and Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data Lake
  • Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience implementing application governance and security controls
  • Microsoft certifications such as:
    • PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
    • PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
    • PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst
    • DP-600: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
    • AZ-204: Azure Developer Associate
Minimum required work experience:
  • 8 years of application development, systems testing, or other job‑related experience, and
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 12 years of experience without a degree)

  • Experience with the following:
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
    • Power Automate
    • Dataverse
    • Power Pages
    • Power Platform Administration
    • Power Platform Pipelines
