About the Role:

Orthopedic Center of Illinois is recruiting an Accounting Analyst to join our Team. This is an in person position.

The Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of accounting records within the health care and social assistance sector. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and reconciling accounts to support sound financial decision-making. The analyst will prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Additionally, the role involves managing complex transactions such as wire transfers and foreign currency exchanges, which are essential for maintaining accurate financial records. Ultimately, the Accounting Analyst contributes to the financial health of the organization by providing detailed insights and supporting efficient financial operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in variance analysis, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced use of pivot tables.
  • Knowledge of balance sheet accounting and financial statement preparation.
  • Familiarity with wire transfer processes and foreign currency transactions.
