BEHAVIOR ANALYST


2025/26 SY ONLY

 
QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
  • Hold current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be enrolled in, or have completed, the coursework requirements for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).  Preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and professionals to design and implement appropriate behavior support programs.
  • Possess highly effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate research-based positive behavioral supports and teaching techniques in the field.
  • Conduct functional assessments and analyses to develop behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to direct support professionals and other individuals in support roles for families.
  • Meet with families, teachers and/or case managers to discuss students' treatment and progress.
  • Create an ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all clients, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.
  • Provide supervision to behavior technicians assigned in specific buildings.
  • Possess skills necessary to build rapport with students and families from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds.
  • Possess a high level of effective student behavioral management skills.
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Yearly Salary Range: $58,626 - $115,488 (Depending on Education and Experience)
