Position Summary
This is a clinical research assistant role, focusing on a one-year project involving spinal cord stimulation patients. The project would involve creating a database of ~100 patients with adaptive stimulation implants, conducting retrospective surveys, data analysis, and ultimately publishing a manuscript. Survey collection responsibilities will include explaining study procedures for informed consent, answering participant questions, and ensuring adherence to IRB and ethical guidelines. After identifying eligible patients and organizing study workflows, they will be assisting with building and managing a database, including accurate data entry, verification, and maintenance of confidentiality. Subsequently, they will be involved in data cleaning and analysis with the goal of publishing study findings. The selected candidate will also pursue opportunities for presenting at conferences and applying for research awards to enhance the research project.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
Ability and willingness to communicate clearly to patients.
