Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German airport operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC (MANJ) is responsible for the operations, maintenance and concession management and services at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal A.
We are currently looking for a Software and Data Analyst Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This is an onsite, paid internship position. Hours are flexible to accommodate your class schedule.
As a member of the MANJ team, you will be part of a dynamic team, helping to enhance travelers’ journeys by providing best-in-class airport services and elevating travel experiences beyond expectations.
The Software and Data Analyst Intern will assist the Facilities Maintenance team develop detailed Facilities Maintenance Power BI dashboards, utilize data from our infrastructure and create Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes. As well as daily supportive work and engineering tasks.
Your duties/responsibilities
  • Under supervision, assist in the development of Power BI Dashboards for the Facilities department reporting data from Maximo and the airport systems HMI software’s.  The student intern will request and receive support and guidance from management to complete assigned activities.
  • Have an intermediate to advanced grasp of Operating Systems, Data structures, algorithms and at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Develop and optimize shared semantic models in Power BI using snowflake schema design.
  • Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from our Maximo database for use in Power BI.
  • Design interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to present key facilities department metrics. 
Your skills & experience
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation between December 2027 – July 2028.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Information technology, engineering, data science, advanced analytics, clinical informatics, or similar program with a total GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server with database design principles is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for creating insightful dashboards.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • A demonstrated ability to learn and employ the basics of research, design, and application within his or her discipline.
  • Consistent, detail-oriented, and excellent organizational skills.

The base salary range for this role is $21.50.
