JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Banking Operations plays a critical role in supporting our client facing business lines and internal partners across a multitude of operational functions across Business Banking. We are focused on achieving the Business Banking "Quest" by seeking ways to deliver value faster, modernize our operations and enhance the colleague experience.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, the Operational Excellence Intern/Co-op student will:

  • Contribute to the refinement of the Business Banking Operations Strategy and on-going monitoring activities.
  • Support delivery of strategy enablers required to mature the Business Banking Operations
  • Work with leaders on the Business Banking Operations team to establish and update team overview homepages.
  • Participate in process improvement conversations to help discover and socialize optimization enhancements to existing process and tools.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement nature of the Business Banking Operations team through timely feedback, knowledge sharing and collaborating with other team members.
  • Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Solid interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to effectively work in teams with multiple stakeholders and to influence and align others
  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo
  • Understanding and ability to apply the principles of the Scaled Agile project methodology would be an asset
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and process optimization fundamentals would be an asset
