Job description

Job Title: Independent Contractor Delivery Driver

Company: Dash Courier & Logistics

Location: Greensboro, NC

Compensation: $152 per day (with potential adjustments based on deliveries accepted)


Job Description

Dash Courier is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Contractors to perform delivery services in accordance with shipper requirements. As a contractor, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering items brokered by Dash Courier during assigned coverage blocks. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role.

Responsibilities
  • Complete deliveries as brokered by Dash Courier, following all shipper requirements.
  • Maintain flexibility to accept or reject delivery offers (note: rejecting deliveries may reduce daily compensation).
  • Optionally assist with office-based support tasks during low delivery volume, including:
    • Answering incoming phone calls and providing customer service
    • Dispatching orders to other drivers using company systems
    • Assisting with order tracking, documentation, and related administrative duties
  • Adhere to all Dash Courier & Logistics policies applicable to contractors.
Schedule
  • Coverage block: 3RD Shift 10pm-6am Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on business needs).
  • Opportunity to work outside specified hours for additional compensation.
Requirements
  • Must operate as an independent contractor (not an employee).
  • Responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and business expenses (including labor, equipment, and operating costs).
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to assist with office-based tasks as needed.
Term & Cancellation
  • Agreement is for one year, automatically renewing unless cancelled by either party with two weeks' notice.
