Job description

Major Duties: The project manager (PM) is expected to lead larger verification projects.The project consists of several minor self-contained projects. The PM will be responsible for ensuring that each of the minor self-contained projects are managed within the project scope; quality, time, costs and within the framework of the project. The PM's duties will be to lead the projects, daily operation in an open, honest and direct atmosphere and in compliance with DNV management system and the local procedures in place

We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates the ability to quickly get an overview of on-going minor projects and good leadership skills. Main roles and responsibilities: Drive the tender and contracting phase for the projects in a consistent and coordinated manner. Responsible for professional management of the major verification projects including client interface, technical status and financial control.

Facilitate the project support with technical advice related to quotation, tenders, contracts and mobilisations of DNV GL staff around the world for survey at vendors. Coordinate with project sponsor, coordinators, technical staff and support personnel in an equal and open matter. Maintaining project status and overview.

Ensure resource allocation in the different departments with the respective coordinators. Ensure that the client receives the agreed service and quality. Ensure that work undertaken within project scope is handled in a professional manner and ensure that financial targets are met for the minor projects as well as the major project.

Required Qualifications: You will have an Engineering degree (M.Sc. /B.SC) or equivalent Previous project management experience Have organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines and set and adjust priorities Be self-motivated and result and quality oriented General knowledge of the offshore market and equipment and components in the sector. We further expect you to: be business, customer and service oriented be dedicated, flexible and an accommodating colleague who enjoys teamwork who is able to work completely independent when needed
