The Burger’s Priest is hiring a General Manager at our Danforth, Toronto location!

What you will do in this role:

  • Train and coach the team below you to provide “ABSOLUTE” service

  • Set clear expectations and follow up with your team on a regular basis

  • Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team

  • Open and close the restaurant independently (key holder)

  • Reconcile cash deposits

  • Place orders and perform inventory counts

  • Address customer concerns ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied

  • Able to attract, interview and hire employees and build a strong team

  • Understand food costing

  • Can accurately schedule employees while achieving labour targets

  • Responsible for P&L results

What we are looking for from you:

  • Minimum two - three years’ experience leading a team

  • Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do

  • Passionate about food and providing only the best guest experiences

  • Food Handler Certified or willing to certify

  • Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays

  • Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed

  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment

  • Well organized with the ability to multitask

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a hot environment
