About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice & piano instructor to teach part-time for our Orange County, CA school The Inside Voice. We have locations in Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Orange, CA. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON!

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Preference will be given to candidates with weekday afternoon/evening availability. Ability to teach other instruments, especially beginner piano, is a plus. This teacher will take on an existing schedule of students from a departing teacher.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $33-$37/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefits options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
