Job description

Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Dance Dept - Ballet Dance Instructor (Evening School)
Posting End Date: August 31, 2026

Position Start Date: September 2, 2026
Required Degree:
BA/BS/BFA required; MFA preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
Teaching Ballet at a pre-professional and/or university level.
Duties/Expectations:
The candidate's primary duty will be to teach ballet at any level, beginning, intermediate, and advanced, commensurate with the candidate's level of expertise and the needs of the ballet area. The candidate will be working under the ballet area coordinator and should be willing to improve their teaching through feedback and professional development. Required meetings will include company auditions, university conference, monthly area meetings, and any additional meetings as called by the coordinator. Candidates may be invited to teach a ballet technique class as part of the interview process.
