Job description

Fred Astaire Ballroom Dance Studio of Manhasset NY are looking for new dynamic instructors. Fred Astaire Dance Studios is a national and international franchised Dance Studio with over 190 schools nationwide. With a huge corporate presence and a well-recognized brand, a new presidential team has taken the company into a progressive and modern first-class organization. Itโ€™s an exciting time to be part of a nationally recognized brand and have the support of a progressive and professional company. Room to develop throughout the company, not just at a local studio level.

Job Responsibilities:

Teach mainly adults the joys of partnership dancing, including but not limited to Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Swing, Cha Cha, Rumba, Bolero, etc. Constant training and improvement of one's own dance skills, perform dance routines at shows, competitions, and in-studio events. Lesson planning and student relationship building are key.

Qualifications:

โ€ข Must have some previous dance experience as a student or teacher (however, training will be provided)

โ€ข Must have great interpersonal communication skills, be lively, upbeat, positive and above all self-motivated and driven, dedicated, passionate and have common sense.

โ€ข Fitness instructors are welcomed and encouraged to apply

โ€ข Both Male and Females wanted
