Job Summary Do you have the energy, rhythm, and creativity to get kids moving. The North Kirkland Community Center is looking for a fun and inspiring Hip Hop Instructor to lead dance classes for ages 5-11. What You'll Do: Plan and teach upbeat, age-appropriate hip hop classes Create a safe, fun, and inclusive class environment Communicate effectively with both kids and parents Encourage confidence, coordination, and creativity through dance What You Bring: Solid knowledge of hip hop and youth dance styles Creative, flexible teaching style Experience working with children ages 5-11 Strong communication and classroom management skills Special Note candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills are required. Ability to interact courteously with the public. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated good judgement in problem solving and responding to customer needs. Proficiency in standard computer software. Qualifications Must have 6 months of related teaching experience.

Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification by start date. Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Other Working Conditions & Physical Activities Work is performed in a community center setting, with high levels of noise. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, and stoop to complete tasks.
