Another Broken Egg Café is not your typical breakfast/brunch establishment. Founded in 1996, we pride ourselves on our traditional and southern inspired creative dishes made from fresh ingredients along with providing an outstanding dining experience for each guest, every time.

Summary of Responsibilities:

-This position requires managing all aspects of the restaurant: Complete oversight of all FOH/BOH personnel scheduling; motivate and inspire staff to follow policies, procedures & uphold our high standards; maintain knowledge of the full menu, recipes, inventories & processes; and continually develop employees through training and example leadership. Our ideal candidate understands the importance of community involvement, ensuring guest satisfaction, and gaining the respect of staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop Employees: Recruit, hire and train hourly employees
  • Guest Service: Maintains high levels of guest satisfaction, consistently exceeding expectations of guest experience
  • Financial Accountability: Skills necessary to manage and control food costs, labor costs and expenses so that financial goals are met.
  • Communication: Establishes and maintain positive, open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensure employees do the same within the team. 
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Serves as a role model for employees through teamwork support and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, team schedules; delegate daily tasks and hold the team accountable for those tasks.
  • Ordering : Make and place food and supply orders from all vendors, maintain vendor relationships.  Checking in orders and putting them away.  Product must be dated and rotated.  There is a lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
  • Culture: Create a fun and competitive environment for manager team, and a positive work environment for hourly employees
  • Works effectively with limited supervision.

Qualifications:

  • 2 year minimum restaurant management or ownership experience (ideally in the breakfast category)
  • Strong Leadership Skills! Must be able to identify opportunities and provide clear direction by leading your team.
  • College degree (or in the process of getting one)
  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved attire at all times.
  • Serve Safe certified or the ability to get certified
  • Resume is required
