Overview
Dairy Queen associates prepare customer orders, process transactions, clean the restaurant, and provide outstanding service to our guests.
Essential Functions
  • Greet guests, answer menu questions, and provide excellent customer service
  • Set up & stock food service stations
  • Prepare and cook food to order
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Follow & promote all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining room, and equipment
  • Verify orders for accuracy
  • Process customer transactions
  • Assist with inventory and light maintenance

Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements
  • 14+ years of age
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to operate a touch-screen monitor and cash register
  • Accurately count money and make change
  • Communicate effectively in English (hear, speak, read, & write)
  • Read and follow a series of instructions
  • Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances
  • Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
