Salary range (but not limited to):

50,900 - 62,200

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We're looking for Personal Lines auto claims adjusters who have passed the AMF exams or are in the process of doing so.

Location: Montreal (2020 boulevard Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), Quebec City (5700 boulevard des Galeries), Saint-Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard Ouest).

Work schedule: 9a.m. to 5p.m., Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)


What you'll do here:

  • Open new claims over the phone with customers, then ensure the situation is handled immediately.

  • Interview insureds and/or witnesses to gather their accounts of events.

  • Determine whether the claim is covered or not by analyzing the insured's policy details.

  • Analyze the information obtained, make decisions to determine liability and review damage assessments.

  • Settle claims fairly and equitably, confirm damage amounts and make payments.


What you bring to the table:

  • Claims adjuster licence and successful completion of exams.

  • Experience in a similar position.

  • Strong time-management skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

What we're looking for:

  • Your excellent customer service skills will allow you to reassure and support your customers throughout the claims process.

  • Your analytical skills will enable you to use your judgment and logic when evaluating claims files.

  • You're not afraid of using different computer systems to perform your tasks.

  • You're able to adapt to change in a constantly evolving environment.

  • You are bilingual (English-French): You are able to interact with both French-speaking and English-speaking customers on a daily basis. Intermediate level English is required. You will regularly handle claims from English-speaking customers.
