Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and specific concerns.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities suited to each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, offering ongoing support, tools, and strategies to help clients navigate their mental health challenges.
• Establish and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients to encourage engagement and motivation throughout the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Utilize clinical tools and assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EHR requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your ability to provide culturally competent care will be essential in addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
• A minimum of four years of experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health counseling.
• Expert knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Ability to engage in both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive approaches to therapy.
• Demonstrated strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain calm during challenging clinical situations.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in the use of EHR systems and basic computer applications necessary for daily operations.
• A commitment to uphold ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting and collaborate on integrated care approaches.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents or clients with dual diagnoses, is beneficial. Familiarity with teletherapy best practices will enhance your ability to succeed in this role, particularly given the remote work setting.

Compensation and Benefits

For this full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor position, we offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
