Construction Superintendent

Location: Georgia

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and according to plans and specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings and specifications.
  • Review site development plans and vertical construction documents.
  • Manage daily field operations from mobilization through project completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce short- and long-term construction schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, equipment, and workforce allocation.
  • Identify and resolve field conflicts, design discrepancies, and construction challenges.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work meets plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety requirements.
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and schedule impacts to project leadership.
  • Make effective decisions and resolve problems in a fast-paced construction environment.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with sitework, earthwork, and grading.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
  • Strong subcontractor coordination and field management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work on the road and travel between project sites as required.
