Job description

Description:

About Drake Law Firm

Drake Law Firm is a personal injury firm based in Woodland Hills, CA. We fight for clients who need someone in their corner, and we have built a team of 90 + people who take that seriously. We are in a growth phase, which means there is real work to do, real problems to solve, and real opportunity for someone who wants to be part of building something.

About This Role

Lemon Daddy is our lemon law brand. We run high-volume social and video content across both Drake Law Firm and Lemon Daddy, and we are building a modern in-house content engine. You would be on the ground floor of that. This is a hands-on content role built to teach you real social media production inside a fast-moving legal marketing operation. You will work directly with our VP of Finance (who leads the marketing overhaul) and our brand marketing leads. You will not run paid ad budgets, handle client information, or post anything without sign-off. Everything you make is reviewed and approved by our team first.

What You'll Learn and Do

  • Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using your phone and tools like CapCut.
  • Draft, design, and schedule posts across both brands, keeping each brand's look and voice consistent.
  • Research trends and pitch fresh content concepts weekly.
  • Build simple graphics in Canva.
  • Help track basic performance (views, engagement, saves) and put together short recap reports.
  • Support community engagement (replying to comments and DMs under supervision).
  • Reddit posting.
  • Prep all content for our internal legal-approval step before anything publishes.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university (marketing, communications, media, film, journalism, or related major preferred). Comfortable creating for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Basic video editing (CapCut, Adobe, or similar) and Canva.
  • Strong writing and a good eye for what performs.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to be in our Woodland Hills office for scheduled hours.
  • Your own smartphone for shooting.
  • Spanish fluency is a strong plus (Lemon Daddy serves a large Spanish-speaking audience).
