Job description

Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Dozer Operator to join our construction team. The Dozer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bulldozers and other heavy equipment used in construction, site preparation, grading, excavation, and related tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dozers to move earth, rock, or other materials as needed for construction or land development.
  • Perform fine grading and rough grading as required by project specifications.
  • Read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans to determine job requirements.
  • Inspect equipment daily to ensure safe and proper working order.
  • Conduct basic preventative maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain awareness of surrounding conditions and adjust operations to ensure safety of crew and job site.
  • Follow company and OSHA safety policies at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other operators on the job site.


Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Dozer Operator in the construction or earthmoving industry.
  • Proficiency in operating different types and sizes of bulldozers (D3-D10 or similar).
  • Knowledge of grade reading and the ability to follow grade stakes.
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety and job site awareness.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license
