Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club is seeking an energetic and motivating Group Fitness Cycle Instructor to join our group fitness team. We are currently looking for an instructor available to teach a Tuesday evening cycling class, with the ability to teach weekend morning classes as needed.
At HFAC, we pride ourselves on delivering a welcoming, community-centered experience with exceptional instruction and care. Our cycle classes are designed to challenge, motivate, and empower members while promoting cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and overall wellness.
As a Cycle Instructor, you'll lead safe, effective, and high-energy indoor cycling classes that keep participants motivated and coming back. You'll play an important role in fostering a positive fitness environment and helping members achieve their health and wellness goals.
Responsibilities
• Lead engaging and motivating indoor cycling classes aligned with HFAC standards
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants of all fitness levels
• Provide clear instructions on bike setup, riding technique, and safety
• Design and deliver effective class formats with appropriate music and coaching cues
• Arrive prepared and on time to provide a professional and positive member experience
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, or equivalent)
• Indoor Cycling certification preferred
• Previous group fitness or cycling instruction experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different class sizes and participant needs
