Position Purpose: Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory problems as they arise. Maintain accuracy of Warehouse Librarian computer database. Through general operating procedure covers most tasks, questions are referred to the supervisor.

Must drive/be willing to drive all PIT equipment. Mon-Fri OT as needed.

Essential Job Functions: Through previous experience will demonstrate with or without accommodation the ability to perform the following duties...

  • Efficiently create complex documents and/or reports using spreadsheet software.
  • Type correspondence and/or documents using MS Office software.
  • Efficiently enter data via 10-key by touch.
  • Operate equipment such as Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, EPJ and Dock stocker.
  • Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all contacts inside and outside the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct inventory cycle counts and adjusted stock counts to ensure the accuracy with which supplies are stocked in the warehouse and run daily inventory, productivity, and analysis reports for distribution among management staff. Ensure cycle count discrepancies are communicated to appropriate supervisors and errors are addressed. Maintain Warehouse Librarian computer database and use it to research and identify product number, obtain SKU number, and locate merchandise within the warehouse. Observe and promote established safety procedures and maintain a clean warehouse environment. Assist in quarterly and annual inventories. Special projects as assigned.

Nature of Supervision:

General instruction is provided on some, but not all tasks to be completed and work is periodically checked upon completion. Non-routine tasks may be assigned which may last from one to several days without direct supervisory direction or guidance.

Supervision Responsibility:

Although this position generally does not entail supervising other employees, on occasion management may delegate additional responsibility to include providing functional guidance to others.

Work Environment:

The duties of this position may be performed in an office environment with some exposure to, or in a warehouse environment in which there is constant exposure to, heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes and/or noise. Work duties are almost exclusively performed indoors in one location, where the risk of minor injury should not be overlooked as a result of warehouse conditions.
