Job description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and inquisitive Cyber Security Analyst to join one of our client's teams.

In this role, you will support a wide range of cybersecurity initiatives, including documentation, process development, security monitoring, and awareness programs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple security domains while building strong technical and analytical skills.

This position is ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to learn and grow under the guidance of an experienced cybersecurity specialist. It is a long-term contract opportunity based in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or similar are a plus
  • Experience with assisting in developing and delivering monthly security awareness communications and training
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing alerts from SIEM, EDR, and related systems to identify potential threats
  • Assist with triage and escalation of security events
  • Exposure to ticketing systems and basic case management workflows
  • Participate in incident response activities, including documentation, evidence gathering, and reporting
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as needed to support incident response and critical security events.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
