Job description

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. DoD clearance. 

Candidates who are not U.S. citizens are not eligible for this role. 

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking a Program Manager contingent upon award of the associated work. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Virginia and will include the following tasking:

  • Identifying cybersecurity design alternatives, researching existing cybersecurity systems in the marketplace and recommending viable cybersecurity solutions. 
  • Maintaining effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members.
  • Identifying, tracking, monitoring, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity projects. 

Desired Experience: 

  • Eight (8) years of experience in Program Management (PM) in Department of Defense (DoD) systems and five (5) years of leadership experience and responsibility in DoD contract management, to include management of a major technical support contract (Navy preferred) and a thorough knowledge of the Navy's contractual process.
  • Experience demonstrating a thorough understanding of the Cybersecurity mission, engineering and research and development, as well as experience with management of a major technical information support contract (Navy preferred). 
  • Experience in understanding of computer security, DoD Cybersecurity policies for both Land Based and afloat/tactical systems, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations. 
  • Possesses the ability to manage a technical team, develop cost estimates and schedules, prepare status reports and prepare budget reports. 
  • Understanding of acquisition and logistics support, project risk management, and change control.
  • Experience working with customers to identify and coordinate new cybersecurity and Information Technology (IT) system and developments and/or enhancements.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors (if subcontracting is proposed).

  • Bachelor’s degree desired

Security Requirements:  

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
