Location: NY, NJ (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
Readiness Assessment - Discovery, Analysis, High-Level Design & Budget Confirmation.
Network Security Program Manager oversees complex, cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives, aligning technical network defenses with business goals and risk strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Delivery: Manage end-to-end execution of network security programs, including firewalls, secure remote access, segmentation, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Risk & Dependency Management: Track technical dependencies across network engineering, security operations, and infrastructure teams.
Vendor & Budget Oversight: Coordinate with third-party vendors, manage statements of work (SOWs), track budgets, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
Governance & Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), maintain risk logs (RAID) and audit-ready documentation, and report program health to senior leadership.
Core Requirements:
A working understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security concepts to converse credibly with the team.
Experience: 8+ years in technical program or project management, with exposure to cybersecurity or IT infrastructure.
Certifications: Credentials like PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are commonly preferred to validate management and security governance skills.
